Studio on-a-roll
If some of your items don’t fit inside the box system add a studio on-a-roll. The material reacts to the light from a camera’s flash so you don’t need expensive and bulky photographic lamps.
It pulls out of the cassette to stand 2 metres high and the attached floor sweep extends to 1.5metres. When you don’t need it just pack it away.
To take shots switch the box software to advanced mode, click “Outside the Box” and “Flash On”. You will then have all the benefits of the software (live preview, cropping, image transfer and so on) but be shooting large items.
These shots were taken just with the internal flash on the Canon G9 camera. You can see them as they were taken and then masked within the box software. No external lights were used and no Photoshop work has been done to them).
